Touch Of Life Physical Therapy and Acupuncture Midtown

I have been going to Touch of Life Physical Therapy for a couple of months now and I highly recommend this place. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Any time I have any questions they answer it completely from the plan/road map to what the exercise or treatment does to help. The place is well equipped with all sorts of exercise equipment as well as high tech stuff (shockwave/laser therapy etc). I worked with Dr. Jo who works with me mostly in stretching and manual work (massage, dry needling etc). He's very knowledgeable and has a holistic view on how to handle my problem. I also work with Dr. Ojugbele who works mainly with me with shockwave therapy and physical exercises to help me rehabilitate and get strong to prevent any future issues. He works with me making sure I'm challenging myself and making progress on the road to recovery. Would recommend, this place is amazing!

As a trained athlete throughout my life, I’ve experienced physiotherapy a number of times at some well-known PT clinics in the U.S. & abroad. A freak accident on a clay court in France ended my career as a professional tennis player, followed by surgery & a lifelong knee problem. A year ago, I underwent a major surgery that now requires rebuilding my core, leg & arm muscles to continue playing tennis, the sport I love most. A friend told me about Touch of Life Physical Therapy & his experience with Dr. Jo & the excellent care he had been given. I can honestly say that I have never met a more welcoming, highly professional staff than this clinic offers. My PT Therapist is Dr. Delaney Richards, who is truly one of the most highly skilled PT professionals I’ve ever met. In less than a month, she has helped me regain each & every muscle group, step by step, revitalized my energy level, my balance & posture in ways I never expected. And this is just the beginning phase of what lies ahead. Touch of Life PT Clinic is a veritable gem for anyone seeking the professional care they offer. The facility is spick & span, the equipment top notch, the atmosphere relaxed, welcoming & genuinely sincere. I highly recommend it!

Dr. Richards has been absolutely outstanding throughout my post-op knee rehab/PT. From day one, she took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, explain the recovery process, and set clear, realistic goals. Her knowledge and professionalism are evident in every session, but what really sets her apart is how genuinely invested she is in her patients’ progress. She strikes the perfect balance between pushing you to improve and making sure you feel safe and supported. The exercises are always purposeful, well-explained, and tailored to exactly where I am in my recovery. Whenever I’ve had questions or concerns, she’s addressed them with patience and clarity, which has given me a lot of confidence in the process. Thanks to Dr. Richards guidance and encouragement, I’ve made steady progress and feel stronger and more mobile each week. I highly recommend her to anyone needing physical therapy—especially post-surgical rehab. She makes a challenging recovery feel manageable and motivating.
