Friendly, professional staff. The entire team was clearly experienced, which made what could have been a stressful root canal a surprisingly pleasant and painless experience. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt well cared for from start to finish. Highly recommend.

My dentist sends me to Dr. Iofin for hard-to-diagnose situations. The first time I saw him, he determined I needed an extraction, and then a year later (July 2025), he treated me for a root canal. I’m a person who gets extremely anxious before dental work and was dreading the procedure, but Dr. Iofin’s expertise, clear descriptions and reassuring manner made it a very easy experience. And it was painless, even before being numbed up because he has a way of doing the shots so that they don’t hurt. He’s an exceptional doctor with a top-notch staff — the root canal treatment consisted of two appointments, and I left both of them feeling extremely grateful.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience as a patient with Fifth Avenue Endodontics, Dr. Iofin, and his entire team. While traveling abroad I incurred a very serious and debilitating dental infection for which I was able to get emergency, short-term treatment. Upon return to New York, I was immediately referred by our family dentist to Dr. Iofin who just as immediately undertook performance of the diagnostic and related preparatory work in support of the follow on oral surgery that successfully address my condition. One year later, all is well and I could be more appreciative of the responsiveness, professionalism and care that I experience as a result.
