Balla Dent is amazing, I am so happy that I found them! 😊 My usual dentist visits are few with many years in between, as my experiences at other dental practices were mostly terrible or degrading. Since I am scared of oral/medical procedures, the interpersonal interactions are more important to me than the actual procedures. In the past I have experienced dentists to be rude and condescending while often charging for unnecessary procedures. As it has been years since I have seen a dentist and one of my previously chipped front teeth needed repair, I searched for a new dentist outside of my country of residence hoping to find friendlier services elsewhere. After receiving numerous recommendations in Budapest, I decided to make an appointment at Balla Dent. I made the appointment per E-Mail and the staff responding were very friendly and also provided me with several immediate options even around the busy holiday weeks. The location within the city is easily accessible, and I even walked there from my accommodation. I initially went for a consultation, professional cleaning (scaling), and xrays, expecting many costly follow up visits to be necessary. However, everything was completed in one appointment, and it is the first time I am really happy with my results😊 Dr. Kristof Balla treated me and Larissza assisted/ did my scaling. Dr. Balla was genuinely kind throughout and tried to ease my anxiety. He did not lecture me about neglecting my teeth, but listened to my concerns and gave me constructive advice. He also did not recommend making lots of unnecessary repairs or changes. In the end I even paid less than what I remembered advertised on the website, and at home I saw I was not charged for the repair of my chipped tooth either. It is the first time I felt a dentist was not trying to sell me something but was actually interested in my dental health and wellbeing. The cleaning was also not painful (my gums were numbed with a gel beforehand) and I was able to relax during the procedures. Both treating me worked carefully and thoroughly, but in total took less time than I expected. I went to the appointment very stressed but was treated respectfully and listened to every step along the way. I walked out of the dental practice very relieved and able to enjoy the rest of my day. I received the recommendation for Balla Dent from friends in Budapest who were satisfied with their experiences, and I have passed on the recommendation to other friends around Europe who were all satisfied with their experiences as well :-) I am very grateful to have a kind, trustworthy place to go to and would be willing to go to regular check-ups now instead of when forced to or when damage has accumulated to unbearable or costly amounts every 5 years. First experience was not as good as I am used to my old dentist, I was little bit disappointed, however I asked for a follow up appointment and they were very open and helpful. Dr. Balla was doing what you expect from a dentist, fast, gentle and painless, I would recommend for expat fellows who don’t speak Hungarian to come.

The Balla-Dent team managed to fix a tooth that other dentists had already given up on. They are very professional, kind, and took the time to answer all my questions. I’m very grateful to have found them. The best dental clinic I've ever been to!
