SINY Dermatology

Dr. Teplitz is an excellent dermatologist—very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to. She took the time to answer all of my inquiries and explained my condition and plan of care clearly. I also want to acknowledge her assistant, Denise, who was incredibly patient with all of my questions and very friendly and kind. The whole experience was positive and reassuring. Highly recommend!

Dr. Sydney Liang is AMAZING! She actually listens to your concerns and makes a plan that makes you feel heard. She has addressed all my issues and I was seeing results within the first month. Truly amazing and kind woman and I highly recommend her!!

I am writing this review for two reasons: first because I got an automated text from SINY Dermatology asking me to do it and second, because I was very very happy with my experience there. I had an appointment with Dr. Gruson, referral from my PCP, probably in part because she has an office in my neighborhood once a week. Appointments were booked out for several months at that location so I chose to visit the 76th street location so I could be seen in just a few short weeks instead. I expected a short visit as most doctors don’t seem to spend much time with patients. I believe my skin rash was a common enough complaint that not a whole lot of time was needed to diagnose and recommend a treatment. Nonetheless, it was apparent I had a few more questions and I was most impressed by Dr. Gruson because she almost insisted I share all my concerns to be thorough. I also asked her to repeat the instructions several times for the treatment which she did without hesitation. The appointment was short and efficient but, more importantly, I felt seen as a human and valued as a patient. I am confident that treatment and communication will be excellent moving forward. I truly felt like I was in caring and healing hands.
